"No wonder, I can stand up and say that Jashn is very close to my heart", says Anjana fondly, "There is a definite reason behind me saying that. Being so involved with the film for last few months, I have come to realize that I can relate to it at numerous junctures. Yes, there are some moments where the character is not the real me but then there are some strong emotional chords that Jashn touches, which makes it all so believable." What does she mean when she talks about emotional chords being touched? "There are moments in your life which do get reflected in the situation that the character goes through.
This is what happened to me as well. I experienced emotions that were pent up within me but came out quite strongly when I was enacting this character. They may have stayed on at a superficial level had I not acted in the film but after working under
Bhatt saab's patronage in Jashn, I am glad I could find my own self in the film", Anja! na reflects in a philosophical tone. While the film has been d! irected by the duo of Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwaala, Mahesh Bhatt was there to lend a helping hand and come up with his own suggestions, something that he has done for majority of his films even after taking a voluntary retirement from direction.
"His presence on the sets helped because he has his own way of molding his actors. He turns you into something else and I can confidently say that together the entire team of Jashn has come up with a superlative effort", she says with a visible glint in her eye. "My career has just begun but I can proudly say that Jashn is one of my benchmark films. It will have to be some really powerful script and some very good acting by me to beat the work that has gone into making Jashn", announced Anjana who has been in the industry for last four years as a leading lady and will soon be seen in Allah Ke Banday and Tum Milo Toh Sahi in months to come.
Fardeen Khan Honors His Fatherâs Last Wish
This Sunday, Bollywood film industry faced a grave loss with the death of the veteran actor Firoz Khan who died after fighting a prolonged battle with cancer. He had been undergoing treatment for cancer at Mumbai.
Firoz Khan was known for his love for fashion, style and love for animals. While at the hospital a few days back, Feroz expressed his wish to visit his farmhouse in Bangalore to be with his pet animals, mainly horses and dogs.
Owing to his poor health condition, the doctors were reluctant to give him the permission for a long journey. However, son Fardeen understood his father’s desire and as he waited for his dad’s condition to improve, he made arrangements for a special chartered flight to Bangalore. Finally, last week, when the doctors gave Feroz the go-ahead for a short trip, Fardeen, accompanied by nurses, flew his father to the farmhouse.
Feroz Khan got to spend nearly three days at his farm with his beloved animals before! he breathed his last after midnight on Sunday.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) team Rajasthan Royals co-owner Shilpa Shetty says apart from cricket she was completely smitten by the wildlife experience in South Africa.
"I did a safari in Singita, a thrilling hot air balloon trip, went to the lion park and actually played with the cubs, something unusual. It was amazing to see a wild animal in such a vulnerable playful state, " said Shilpa who was in South Africa for IPL matches.
"I fed ostriches and got pecked by one! And also fed a giraffe, they have the lo! ngest purple tongues, wrapped it around my hand, leaving its saliva all over it, eeow! But what fun, " the actress posted on her blog.
